Monday, September 27 took place a meeting between the HRD Directorate ESAD, the representative of our union and all of TEA (Silkscreen Workshop and Prepress, Photography Workshop, Workshop Digital, Video Workshop, Workshop Paper, Wood Workshop, Metal Workshop).
At this meeting we were invited to re-discuss our demands. We insisted on the situation common to all the TEA and refused treatment on a case by case basis. Our partners have warned about the risks of a change of status and the consequences for all of us (retirement, loss of CDI for one-year contract, tenure problems, loss of wages). But our union representative recalled that solutions exist for each of these cases.
We remain united on the same claim, that means the guarantee of obtaining the return of the status of Artistic Teaching Assistant. We recall that this is the only status that allows us to teach, conduct project monitoring, and without which we are made impossible from the start to pursue educational activities and workshops.
After this meeting, the guardianship is committed to working on our file and we provide suggestions for Oct. 7. To help them we are also preparing a dossier outlining the history of our proposals, the summary documents submitted to the Department since 2006, the list of courses delivered by the TEA until 2010 and the proposed redevelopment of the plates.
To support us, continue to sign in and sign the petition , as many former students and nearly half of current students!
We also invite you to discover now the new pages of our blog "react with pictures" and "response video" .
